1. Basic Principles

Bear Find (hereinafter referred to as "the App") values user privacy. All features are designed around "local processing, offline-first." This policy explains how the App handles user data and complies with the submission requirements of the App Store and Google Play.

2. Data Collection

• The App does not automatically upload any user documents, images, or OCR text to the cloud.
• All documents and images are stored only on the user's device (in the sandbox directory).
• If the user chooses "Clear all data with one tap," all data is immediately deleted from the device.
• If a cloud backup feature is offered in the future, the user's consent will be requested separately.

3. Technologies Used

OCR module: Uses iOS Vision / Android ML Kit, running locally without any network transmission.

Advertising module: Uses Google AdMob and displays only non-personalized ads. Your photos or OCR text are never used as a basis for ad targeting; ad requests connect to ad servers but do not involve any document data.

4. Analytics and Logging

• The App may record anonymous usage events locally (such as feature usage counts and search success rates).
• In the first version, these are stored only on the device and are not uploaded to any server.
• If anonymized aggregate analytics are offered in the future, the user's consent will be obtained first.

5. Third-Party Services

Aside from this, the App only uses the iOS / Android system camera and OCR APIs, with no other third-party data collection.

6. User Rights

• Users can delete all data within the App at any time.
• After uninstalling the App, all documents and records are removed along with it.

7. Data Security

• All files exist only in the device's local storage and never pass through any remote server.
• The local database resides in the App's sandbox and cannot be accessed directly by other apps.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is rated for general audiences and has no special features designed for children. Ads are limited to tool/productivity-related content and avoid sensitive categories.
